Cookie policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
Move2Cloud Chatbot only uses the cookies it needs to work. It sets no advertising cookie and uses no audience measurement tool: that is why no consent banner is shown.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text that a site asks your browser to keep, and that the browser gives back at each visit. It lets the site recognise a session or remember a choice.
2. The cookies of the console
All of them are necessary to the service you ask for, or keep a choice you made yourself.
| Cookie | What it is for | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| access_token, id_token, refresh_token | Keep you signed in. They cannot be read by the scripts of the page. | The session: 10 hours at most |
| code_verifier, oauth_state | Secure the round trip to the sign-in page. | 10 minutes |
| m2c_org | Remember the organisation you chose to work in. | 1 year |
| m2c_lang, m2c_lang_changed | Remember the language of the console, and that you changed it here, to tell your Move2Cloud account at the next sign-in. | 1 year |
3. The sign-in page
Signing in, signing up and two-step sign-in happen on Move2Cloud's identity service (auth.move2cloud.fr). It sets its own session cookies, for the time you stay signed in, and one that remembers the language of its pages.
4. What is kept in your browser without a cookie
A few display preferences stay in your browser and are never sent to the Service: the appearance (light or dark), the providers you chose to show, the cloud account selected in the conversation, the style of code blocks.
5. Refusing or deleting cookies
You can delete or block cookies in the settings of your browser. Without the session cookies you cannot stay signed in to the console; without the two others, the language and the organisation are asked again at each visit. Signing out deletes the session cookies.
6. Questions
The privacy policy says what data the Service processes and what your rights are. For any question: contact@move2cloud.fr.
